SHOTCRETE AND GUNITE INSTALLATIONS
Refractory shotcrete installations are pneumatically applied to prepared surfaces at a high velocity, designed to reinforce steel rods, mesh, or fibers, as well as containing heat within an environment.
Steel Mill Service
Reheat furnaces, blast furnaces, BOF’s, Electric furnaces, ancillary furnaces and caster applications.
Power Plants
Boiler refractory repairs.
Water Treatment Plants
Concrete walls.
Glass Plants
Furnace roofs and walls.
Concrete Plants
Emission control areas, structural repairs.
High Activity Places
Pools and other commercial, government and high activity places.
FIREPROOFING
Industrial fireproofing is designed to provide predictable protection of structural elements from high temperature warping and collapse during fires.
There are numerous types of fireproofing to accomplish this task; however, initial cost, maintenance cost, thickness, and structural stability are variables and design considerations that are factored into the chosen system.
Four Types Of Fireproofing
Dense concrete, sand/cement, proprietary cementitious, in-tumescent
Applications For Fireproofing
Spray, trowel/hand applied
